Cooking Up A Storm!

Hello, my digital  LO today is my DT creation for By The Cute and Girly Challenge Blog. Main post can be found HERE. The theme for March is 'In The Kitchen' chosen by my lovely teamie Geraldine.
.
Went to Google images and searched for sketches to give me a little help along the way. Tweeked a little bit here and there till I was happy with the final result. That's what I love so much about going digital, I'm so indecisive and if I don't like how something looks I can just delete and start again. Would dread to think how much papers would end up in the scrap box in reality. Have a big enough pile with card making.  This is one of the first in a collection  for my granddaughter to look back on when she's older, She's four at the moment and loves seeing what Nana creates. Maybe in the future she will be digi scrapping too. She has already started on the card making front.

My Memories Suite is so easy to use, plenty of tutorials if you need a helping hand, must say I have only read one so far, just jumped in and was playing around in minutes and loads of freebies to play around with.   Why not give it a go, they do have a free trial version which you can find HERE.

bye for now

  7. Hi Carol, love this page. If you hadn't said it was digi I would have thought it was a paper l'o it looks so lifelike. I have never tried digi, I am a little old school still, I really like the feel of paper and adding embelli's that I have had to hunt down but looking at this has made me want to at least give it a go and see what i could do. I am quite proficient at Photoshop so that doesn't worry me I just don't think I could afford to start again with a load of digi stuff! Anyhoo, great page and am now a follower too.

  12. Hi Carol

Just dropped by your blog to thank you for the lovely comment you left. Really glad I did as this LO is fantastic. I've been playing with digi layouts this week and like you love the fact you can ditch elements you don't like.

Your GD is a little cutie too! Takes me back to when mine were little :D
